Business Development Representative (BDR)

We are excited to hire a Business Development Representative (BDR) who will serve as an integral part of both the Sales and Marketing teams. The BDR role is critical to our continued growth through successful demand generation programs and new account sales. Key Responsibilities

  • Persistently pursue new leads and identify prospective leads through warm and cold calling, industry/company events, social media outreach, among others.
  • Qualify leads with research, identify decision makers, and generate interest in our platform.
  • Work closely with VP of Marketing and Sales leadership team on strategy, communication, and pipeline updates. Support sales team with the coordination of meetings.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with prospects, offering updates and insights regarding Avant-garde Health and our growth and development.
  • Maintain and expand our database.
  • Occasionally attend and provide on-site representation at industry events.
  • Recognize recurring issues, trends and competitive threats. Identify improvement areas through a consultative process.

Qualifications

  • Must Have: 1-2 Years experience as a Business Development Representative.
  • Must Have: Experience in a Health-Tech software company selling to hospitals and/or ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs)
  • Experience supporting Sales teams.
  • Experience nurturing multiple accounts with timely follow-ups in a busy environment.
  • Ability to engage executives and other decision makers while gaining confidence and building rapport.
  • Proficiency in using social media to broaden visibility and cultivate relationships.
