Customer Success Senior Analyst

We're excited to hire an experienced healthcare Customer Success Senior Analyst to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility is to work with Avant-garde's proprietary analytics software, pinpointing customer inefficiencies so that these insights can be translated into action. AGH’s diverse customers are healthcare leaders and consider AGH to be their trusted Advisor. You will play a critical role in this capacity.

As an essential contributor at Avant-garde Health, you will work cross-functionally, partnering closely with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and leadership. AGH prefers to promote from within. The Senior Analyst role is a stepping stone to becoming a Customer Success Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage Avant-garde's core analytics platform solutions to unearth client-hospital-specific insights that help them understand where they have opportunities for improving care or financial performance.
  • Use your critical thinking, data, and analytic skills to develop analyses that address client needs.
  • Help create and sometimes present compelling presentation materials to help communicate opportunities to hospital leaders and clinicians and motivate client action.
  • Work cross-functionally with Avant-garde's product and engineering teams to provide valuable product feedback and with the sales team to support customer growth.
  • At times, participate in new customer onboarding and training.
  • Serve as customer support for Avant- analytics platform; answer partner questions, lead training events, and develop materials as needed.
  • Partner cross-functionally at Avant-garde and help create a compelling case for upsell and/or new customer feasibility analysis.
  • Help monitor client engagement through various key metrics, including tracking platform usage, survey feedback, and value creation (measured by improvements in quality and financial performance).
  • Participate in organizing Avant-garde's annual client-focused Value Improvement Summit. Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person meetings with clients.


  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Proficient in manipulating and synthesizing large amounts of data; undergraduate or graduate degree in quantitative discipline strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years in healthcare delivery/operations or management consulting with a focus on data and analytics preferred.
  • Intermediate/advanced proficiency with Excel, Pivot Tables, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong critical thinking skills; ability to develop analyses that address client needs.
  • Demonstrated collaboration, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enjoys a fast-paced start-up culture and working on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Ability to travel domestically to client sites as necessary (10-15%).
